We are deeply touched by the outpouring of offers

We are deeply touched by the outpouring of offers to support the families affected by the fire. Mr Liu and his family reside in one of the public rental housing blocks we serve.

We will be actively working with Grassroots leaders and Residents’ Committee, and meeting with Mr Liu’s family and the neighbouring affected households.

Rest assured, we will provide updates on how best the families involved would like to receive support.

While public rental flats provide shelter for lower-income families, these spaces represent much more—they are places where families strive for a better life, friendships are formed, and a sense of belonging is nurtured.
